THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
The 4th of February was dedicated to cancer awareness campaign in a bid to curb the disease.
The fight against cancer is a fight for everyone who is not affected, who is affected, who knows any affected persons and who does not know any affected persons.
The government has a great responsibility to secure its people against any form of aggression and dangers.
Cancer is a disease that is so rare amongst Nigerians before now.
So, what has changed that makes cancer becoming common nowadays.
What are we eating?
What are we drinking?
What is used for the purification of our water?
What is used to preserve our food?
A number of Nigerians are being tormented by cancer.
Government, yes, government, it is your responsibility to safeguard and secure the lives and properties of your people.
Not only by building a formidable military, Police, etc. Not only by building hospitals and providing medicine.
But, now, also by building strong institutions that will be responsible for what I called “CONSUMPTION SECURITY” apart from Food Security.
NAFDAC should be invigorated and funded well to carryout its responsibilities without the fear of any kind.
Hmn, what are we feeding the young generation with?
Now that some strange foodstuffs have become common. To quell this disease that is turning some people to human vegetables and draining their funds, we need to take Consumer Security seriously.
