Some reasons were given as to why Peter Obi should not be the vice presidential candidate of the newly formed African Democratic Congress coalition (ADC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baba-Ahmed, who was Obi\u2019s running mate in the 2023 presidential election, noted that the latter should not be ADC\u2019s vice presidential candidate because of his performance in the poll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While appearing on Arise TV\u2019s Prime Time on Thursday, Baba-Ahmed disclosed that the coalition\u2019s presidential ticket is between the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and Obi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While putting the others in consideration, he stressed that Obi should not be anyone\u2019s deputy in the 2027 election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe position of VP is very big. Anyway, I wanted to be, and I was rigged out. But I think Peter Obi should not be a VP, having gotten a disputed 10 million votes,\u201d Baba-Ahmed shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking further, he expressed his disagreement with the claim that only the coalition of opposition parties can oust President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party defeated Tinubu and Atiku in the 2023 election without a coalition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
